Artist Statement
"I thrive on creativity and my passion is creating art. I am at my happiest when I am creating and working on a project of some sort. Acting scares me and gets me out of my comfort zone, and I am an artist because I love my passion more than my fear. I love to try and walk a mile in another person’s shoes, whether they be fictional or not. Finding the empathy in any character, no matter what their circumstances, really connects me with the wonder and beauty of humanity. It fills me with a love for all people and that is so important to me. I think there is something so powerful about being able to affect those around you, and I do it through art. I believe people have infinite worth, and I want to show people that through theatre. " -Hallie Purser
